Changing Paper Size Permanently !!!

Hi.

I am using Korean version of Windows XP Pro and have a question. By default,
korean version of windows xp sets paper size as A4, which is not letter. I
want to know how to change it to letter permanently. I know it could be done
in page setup menu in various applications, but it changes paper size for the
session only. I tried to change it at property window of printer setup, but
it did not help. I think there is something I can do by editing registry.

Please help me !!!
