(i dont really know what category this falls into so i put it in the one that sounded the closes to what i am trying to do.)

I have an acer aspire t180 and i wanted to convert it into an okay gaming computer.

Specs:

http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/desktop/0000/Acer/Asp...

i wanted to add:

Intel Core i3 530 2.93GHz

NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT 1GB DDR2 Express Graphics Card

600W Computer POWER SUPPLY FAN 20/24

And 3gb ram

Is this possible to do? If so, should i buy anything else or change something on the list?

thanks

I have an acer aspire t180 and i wanted to convert it into an okay gaming computer.

Specs:

i wanted to add:

Intel Core i3 530 2.93GHz You have an AMD CPU, you will not be able to install an Intel CPU into the board.

NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT 1GB DDR2 Express Graphics Card OK

600W Computer POWER SUPPLY FAN 20/24 OK

And 3gb ram OK, get either 2 sticks with 1GB=2GB, or 2 sticks with 2GB=4GB, don't try to use 4 sticks of RAM. If your operating system is a 32-bit, e.g. WinXPx86) get the 2x1GB RAM because the OS won't be able to see and use much more than 2GB with the new GPU - so why pay more than you have to pay?

Is this possible to do? If so, should i buy anything else or change something on the list?

thanks
