OPINIONS ON THE GIGABYTE GA-X58-USB3 LGA 1366 mobo?

It's a new MOBO - why are you interested in it?

I all too often don't want to be the one to discover BIOS issues and hope they'll be fixed soon.

Need more to go on, are you looking to 2/3-WAY CF or SLI, OC - how much, RAID support, more info = better answer.

really more curious than anything else. if this is the new generation of mobos and they carry better features than earlier quality mobos at a better price point it just strikes me as something to investigate.

would be looking to do light overclocking
not so sure about raid based on some experiences in the past (my fault!)

i agree that without much info out there, it would be a step into the deep end. i nevertheless thought some - possibly you - might already have some insights into it.

For a few dollars more, there are better alternatives.
