Freeagent GoFlex Upgrade USB 3.0 Cable

Like the title says I just bought this cable and I don't see ANY difference than using my old USB 2.0 cable. It says it is supposed to be up to 10X faster than USB 2. I have Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 and it supports USB 3.0, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

well if it does support usb 3.0 it would have come with a usb 3.0 cable....

what model do you have cause i just looed up the 3 goflex models portable/pro-portable/desktop and they all say usb 2.0
