-My Set up-
Motherboard: GA-790FXTA-UD5
Processor: Phenom II X4 955
Memory: 4 x 2GB Patriot Gamer Series DDR3 1333 Model PGS34G1333ELKA
Video Card: XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770
Hard Drive: 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64
USB devices: Sidwinder x6 keyboard, sidewinder x5 mouse

-My Problem-
For some reason which I have not yet been able to identify the system will freeze up forcing me to reboot. The freezing will happen randomly, some times it will happen while browsing the internet or even just navigating folders in windows explorer. Other times it has frozen up while windows is starting just before the log in screen and it has even frozen up while in the BIOS menu. I have tried testing the memory and the hard drive with a hirens boot disc and neither showed any problems. I am not sure what steps to take next in determining what this issue could be, I was thinking about trying to update the BIOS but I have never done it before and wasn't sure if it would even help the issue.

Thanks!

Didn't find any memory errors. Every now and then I have an ATI driver that fails I wonder if maybe that is the issue? But I don't know how that could freeze it while in the bios menu...
