Laptop won't power up after being on.

Hello,
I just got a new battery for my laptop a Acer Aspire. I put the new battery in and the laptop came on worked for a while and then quit. I set the settings so it couldn't hibernate, yet it did. Now it won't turn on at all.

May be try plugging and turn on or change the battery or go show it to comp workshop\store
