OC 3770k problem

I just started ocing my 3770k. i was going 4.4 at 1.3v, about a min in, one of the cores had a failure. any idea why? just voltage or something? i was running at about 80c max oc with prime95

Ooooh guuurl you best be having a good cooler. And it could be a number of reasons. I would recommend not going past 1.3v since your already reaching nearly the maximum core temps of that cpu. Stick with 4.3 or 4.2.
