Faster processor for a gateway p 6312

Hi i have a gateway laptop and im looking to tweak it a little add a faster processor and a bluetooth mini card if i can,i have a empty mini card slot just not sure of part # and don,t know if broard will handle a faster cpu it has a 1.73 duo witch is stock any info would help thanks Rick

That is about the best processor that would work in that laptop. I wouldn't bother trying to upgrade the processor the few that are better wont give you much more performance to make it worth it. I would just max out the RAM on it thats about all I would do to that.
