Decent, lower-priced DDR3 RAM for this EVGA Mobo?

Hi, all. I ordered a i5-760 processor, GTX 460, and this EVGA motherboard on Friday:

EVGA P55 SLI 132-LF-E655-KR LGA1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

on Monday I'm ordering the RAM, case, and PSU. Can anyone recommend 4GB of decent, lower-priced DDR3 RAM for the EVGA? I do not plan on overclocking anything on the system.

Thank you!

  1. That should work fine, I usually recommend these:

    but you beat the price.
  2. Best to get these -

A little higher priced compared to your selected RAM's but definitely worth it..
  3. Cheap! PNY XLR8 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model MD4096KD3-1600-X8

Real good, fast and worth the extra $ Mushkin Blacklines and the kit Emperus suggested.
btw i own that Ripjaws kits.
  4. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
  5. I went with G.skill's Trident series. 7-7-7-21 for 110$ but apparently the only ones available on newegg anymore are 2x1gb ones for 50$ and at 9-9-9-24 and the more expensive version of what I got because it comes with a ram cooler.
