2 beeps sounds like a VW or road runner

Just happened on the 17th. Occurs before the win XP system is loaded and after it is loaded. I hear 2 faint beeps, quick like about every minute. I am running an Asus Striker II MB. It's annoying but I wonder is it trying to tell me something?

It could be telling you your system is overheating if its an old system you might want to try cleaning all the dust and crap out of it with some compressed air and a vacuum.
