I was about to buy an Asus laptop for 900 dollars, but after reading your post I may have to go with the Alienware.

The Asus I was looking at runs wow at max settings (except shadows) very smoothly.

When you say 40-60 fps, what resolution do you use, and do you have to have 40-60 all the time, or most the time?

If you don't include Dalaran as needing 40-60 fps, then it gets easier.
