Hi.

Check the temps that u are getting with the rig and test the RAM with mementest86+. Let me know the results that u get.

The temps seems fine download and use memtest86+ to check the RAM.

P.D. Fix ur sig, u need write something between the brackets ie ]Xfire Profile[/
September 20, 2010 5:03:09 PM

this is idle temps some times get higher than that...
i made a memtest and it passes twice and didnt find any error...
i adjust the voltage for my cpu and made the vcore sets on 1.34 and mem voltage 1.8 and still get the freeze sometimes and low fps in wow and some others like crysis with or without AA the fps stuck on 25-30

Slow down the RAM voltage to 1.65V and try again.
September 21, 2010 6:08:33 AM

so is my cpu bottlenecking my 470?? or is it my cpu bottlenecking the ddr2 rams?
September 21, 2010 9:04:10 AM

i always get freezes while installing programs or games or program running background....any idea?

plz anyone can help me?

September 21, 2010 6:21:50 PM

thanks for the replay :)

i will update it since the f9d is a beta bios is it ok to update?

another question... am i having a chance of bottlenecking?

Check 1st the 955 model that u have and check what BIOS version needs if the F9D is need it update it.

Not really, but u can try OC the CPU as soon as u fix the freezing problem.

ok...after updating i have been doing some tests and heres the results (bios in default setting)

see the vcore of the cpu...is it ok?

ram volt is on:1.95v

is everything is fine with voltage? i see ramv on 1.95 and mobo on 51c idle? should i worry?

Benchmarks: GPU on stock clocks...

Heaven 2.1 results:

-i still see freezes (while installing GTA IV)
-i saw improve fps in games:
Crysis 1.2v all max 1280x1024 no AA > 40-58fps avg:49fps instead of 25-31fps
GTA IV update 7 all max 1280x1024 i get 56fps in benchmark and gameplay avg 26fps

i guess thats all...i'll post other if i got somthing else

September 22, 2010 10:16:20 AM

hey...i got problem with heating after overclock @18x200/~3616 > 71c :S i think i need a better cooling case and a new thermal paste... :S

The CPU is very high for the stock speed, with 1.35V u can run it at 3.2GHz without problems the 1.5V are only useful when u try to go fro 3.8GHz or above.

With only a good cooler the temps problems can be solved, isn't necessary a new case.
September 22, 2010 4:03:48 PM

what about the freezes?

I only can think in GPU problems, maybe driver problem or the GPU himself. Can u test with another GPU or test the GPU in another rig?

Try uninstalling the driver and install it again. But download it again from the nvidia's web site.

Remove the CPU and CPU cooler and install it again.
September 27, 2010 5:05:32 AM

i double chked the cpu and the cooler....nothing changed

one more thing....my mobo got high temp sets on 50-55 idle...whats wrong???

The only thing that I cant think is the mobo.

@saint19
so u can say rams? timing? see this thread i have made

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/280700-12-adjusting...

@mosox
i read all of wt u have provided and i think its a dirver problem? i dont really know but i got big freeze while playing WoW but the system did not froze so i ended up the game by task manager....

about my mobo overheat i will paste thermal tomorrow on the chipset may fix the problem....mobo overheated i think...

Which are the default timings for ur RAM?

September 27, 2010 6:30:08 PM

Yep, try with one stick of RAM at his rated voltage. The fact that it passed memtest doesn't mean it's OK. Either that or the video card, I don't think it's the mobo.
September 27, 2010 7:51:53 PM

thank you guys for the replay..

@saint19
it was 6-6-6-18 and trc was at 25

@mosox
you mean one stick of ram with default setting?
Edit: the default volt for the dimm is 1.95 and cpu volt goes to 1.5...i had to siton 1.35 the dimm is auto adjusting at 1.85 from 1.95

September 27, 2010 8:27:58 PM

Which are the current settings for the RAM? x-x-x-x XT and what voltage?
September 28, 2010 4:12:13 AM

the current setting are 5-5-5-15/24trc/2t volt 1.95

the default are 6-6-6-18/25trc/2t 1.95

September 28, 2010 1:12:46 PM

Set the RAM to default settings and test again.

went back to normal states and ran prime for an hour...the rams is ok....but i think its the heat of my mobo...the chipset is so high idle 55c :S...thinking of a solution
