Just got a few new nice machines in the office (a P4 2ghz to replace my 1.2ghz celeron) and they came stock with XP Pro (Dude, we got Dells..lol). Now the only thing I cant connect them to is an HP 450c Plotter on a Linksys printserver. I can see that it is there, but I just get printserver errors. But I can print to 2 other printers on the same print server (an Epson 1520 and an HP Laserjet 4).

Has anybody had experiance with these plotters and XP?

How are you trying to connect the other printers? If USB, initially hook up using the front USB port. We have had trouble getting USB printers hooked with Dells with XP - but the problem went away after getting the printers recognized by XP through the -front- USB ports. No idea why it works this way as I haven't actually mapped the architecture.

I don't know if that helps based on the info in your post, but...

Nope, not USB, the HP 450c s attached to a linksys network printserver with 3 parallel ports.

Finally got it working after fiddling with drivers ans IP settings.
