So I was reading about the Prime95 part and it said that if you have hyper threading you should run 2 instances of Prime95 to make it most effective, is this true? Also I am using v27.7 and I cannot change the password setings nor the priority, is this necessary? Someone help me.

More about : instances prime95

New news to me, but probably correct.

That said, I would not bother.
Run prime95 with rounding checking long enough for the temperature rise to stabilize.
If your clock rate stays high(use cpu-z/realtemp) for the duration, you are good.
At least with any conservative overclock.
In actual usage, it is unlikely that you will have an error later.
If you intend to push the limits, then do all the article recommends.
