The reason you thought we were gonna laugh (we aren't) is that you picked out a overkill cpu & mobo. Dumb 'em down. FPS don't need i7 920.

Agreed on the HD 5850. You can play ANY games on that with a 3Ghz dualie or quad cpu. The other way to say it is you WON'T ever make full use of i7 920 with your usage. That'd be a waste. Spend your money wisely.

Okay well, I wanted the 920 for headroom, but at the price i just put together this set up, im pretty sure i will go with it....

Not sure on the Video Card yet... I looked at some benchmarks and i'm not sure if the price diff is worth it.
