If you play only FSX and/or GTA4, then that's the right cpu & gpu. Otherwise, bad choices of cpu & gpu. What games or kinds of games do you play?

Too CPU/Mobo heavy and terribly lite in the dept. you have to pull the trigger the hardest i'm afraid i.e the GPU!

The reason you thought we were gonna laugh (we aren't) is that you picked out a overkill cpu & mobo. Dumb 'em down. FPS don't need i7 920.

Agreed on the HD 5850. You can play ANY games on that with a 3Ghz dualie or quad cpu. The other way to say it is you WON'T ever make full use of i7 920 with your usage. That'd be a waste. Spend your money wisely.

i5 750
P7P55D-E PRO

or

PhII x4 965
any good 790X mobo with CF

with

2X2GB DDR3 1066-1600mhz

The rest is good.

Okay well, I wanted the 920 for headroom, but at the price i just put together this set up, im pretty sure i will go with it....

Not sure on the Video Card yet... I looked at some benchmarks and i'm not sure if the price diff is worth it.
