What motherboard would you select for the intel i950 processor

Forum Motherboards & Memory : Motherboards What motherboard would you select for the intel i950 processor

I am planning to build possibly a computer using the i920 or i950 processor from Intel. The build will be strictly for high end gaming, internet browsing and computer programming.

Because its only an extra $10.00 for the i950 I have decided to go with this processor instead of the i920.

I have a site I would like to buy a mobo from and would like suggestions and reason behind them.

I wish to also get a ATI 5870 graphics card as well if that helps

Here is the site I am using to buy my parts from. Any help would be most appreciated in advance.

Hoping someone can help me make an informed decision.

I would go with either the ASUS Sabertooth X58 or the ASUS P6X58D-E. These are the two best boards for the value followed closely by Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R.

^+1. I'd go for the P6X58D-E my self.

Your CPU and GPU choices are fine, BUT what about the PSU (NEVER skimp on the PSU) and the RAM?
