CPU Temperature Fluctuations

Hi, I recently changed out my motherboard and changed the thermal compound on my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 to the MX-3 compound. However, once I start my computer, the temperature reading in Everest Ultimate Edition will jump back and forth every few seconds between 28C and 48C. The BIOS reading though, hovers around 30C. The temperatures were fine before I got the motherboard. Is something wrong with the motherboard sensor or my thermal compound application, or is the Everest reading inaccurate? Thanks a lot!

I'd trust the BIOS over Everest. Chances are that the MOBO sensors are a bit off. Try another program like Speedfan or RealTemp just to make sure.
