Overclocking AMD FX-8350

I'm currently waiting on the arrival of my 8350, I intend on overclocking it with a custom watercooling solution.

However, at first it will be running on the stock cooler for around a month..

SO

If anyone has read anything or has any experience, what clock should I be aiming for when its watercooled (I'v read about 4.8)?

and, do you recomend clocking it up a bit on the stock cooler? if so, how much?

Thanks in advance guys :)

you might be able to push it a little, but also dont forget about the voltage. these things ship with a voltage that is VERY high already. which means, you can easily push an extra 200 MHz and push voltage down, getting better operating temperatures. 4.8 is pretty good with watercooling. you might be able to hit 5 ghz

  6. I'm thinking of overclocking my 8350. I may overclock on the stock cooler but I may get the Corsair h100i as that looks quite neat.

I have the corsair H80 on my main rig (2600k @ 4.2) .. works beautifully, I imagine the H100i would be awsome :P
