The question is what is the best configuration for RAM? It is stated in the MB that memory channel is quad (Memory channel 4 Channels per CPU). So what is recommended? 8x4GB or 16x2GB? Price aside, going with 8x4GB (one DIMM per channel, per physical cpu) is a better way to go; it will also keep the other memory slots open for future memory upgrades. jaquith a c 344 } Memory September 21, 2010 5:26:24 PM Welcome Newcomer!
