Graphics bios

Hi,I have built a computer using a Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H motherboard with onboard video and it is working great.I am going to put a graphics card in it soon.Will I need to change anythaing in the bios to make it work?Thanks

You'll need to make sure the BIOS settings enable the new discrete video card, and that it is the primary video.

HI,thanks for gitting back to me.I am new at this and am not sure what that means.

Most newer boards will default to the GPU slot (PCIe) when a discrete card is inserted in it.
Worst case scenario is that you will have to go into BIOS and select PCI-express as primary display adapter.
