Hello,
I've been having this problem ever since i built my computer a few months ago. When I turn on my computer more often than not, it fails to boot. Not only that but all of the fans inside start spinning as fast as they can, it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. I usually just keep restarting it until it works but now it rarely ever starts and I really need to know what I need to replace. I'm thinking its the power supply but I want to hear the thoughts of others who have much more experience than I do. Here are my specs:

Asus m4a785td-v evo Motherboard
Radeon 5870
Amd Phenom x4 995
antec 850 watt truepower quattro
velociraptor 10,000rpm 300gb hard drive
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried everything in the "Read before posting about boot problems" sticky? Go back and do EVERYTHING in the thread. If that doesn't fix it, come back with the results of the various tests.

We also to know what RAM you're running.
