Hello,
I have an acer aspire 3680 laptop and I have installed windows 7 on this laptop. I use this laptop to run network bridge to supply another computer with internet and it used to work fine when installed with vista. I checked on the acer website and they say that this laptop is not supported by windows 7, but after the install all the drivers are there except my atheros ar5bmb5 wireless card that has windows hardware compatibility driver in it.

It has a small problem of always saying it has an ip conflict and limited connectivity, or working for a while then going back to limited con then springs back up after a while.
I believe that the Hardware compatibility driver is my problem, so I was wondering if anyone had a link to a laptop driver that has this wireless card driver for windows 7.

It may not even be an Atheros - I'm afraid Acer has a history of misnaming parts they use in their machines. Go into Device Manager from Control Panel and find the wireless adapter, then click on the Details tab and note down the first four characters of both PCI\VEN and DEV. You can either post them back here or more quickly, input them in the boxes provided at this website and follow the links to the real maker's site, from which you should safely be able to download the drivers.
