I set up a standard user but they can see ALL my document folders and files. Ho

I did! it's a standard user account, and the 'administrator' box is unticked. I can't see any other way to set the account up but the problem is there. Also - when the new user created various prog shortcuts on his account, those icons appeared on my desktop...

I've now tried again several times but no use! Never had this problem before I got a laptop with Windows 7 so can anyone help?
