More about suggestions build please
  1. Hmm ok $794 AR
  2. A little different than your build but ready for W7 and DX11 when you get it. If you change the multiplier on the processor in the bios you will have the 965..... video is DX11 capable and better than the one you chose. Power supply is better. Same case. can't remember if it had free shipping. If not you should look for a case with it. very expensive to ship a case. Save $... The mother board is a mATX... can only put 1 card on it but I've learned that that's all you really need..... especially if it's the right one. Keeps us posted and good luck to you. woops...$895.

will this ram even work with the mobo? it doesnt say 1600 under the ram specs on the mobo?

    any other suggestions?
  4. It will work fine........ and as a matter of fact........ regardless of what ram you use.... DDR3 1333, DDR3 1600, DDR3 1800 it will probably ( might ) default to 1333 and you'll have to set it run that way ( 1600 in this case ) in the bios. Not all boards will automatically set ram to run as listed... IE:1600-1800 or whatever. ......... Where it says 1666 in the specs.... I'm sure it's a typo. Pretty sure they meant to say 1600. And to be honest, running it at 1333 will not harm performance to any degree that it would be noticed by anybody..... it's for the bench mark freaks.
What's the total on all that stuff ? Save enough to buy a 64bit W7 did you ?
  5. it came out to 880$ after shipping will the heatsink and fan that came with the processor cool it enough? - I dont plan on overclocking with it
and windows 7 64-bit -- oem will come with everything to install right?

and any ideas on a resonable monitor?
  6. Opsys is fine. Set DVD rom as first boot device to install it. After install make HD first dvd second. If you're not using a floppy disable it.
I don't know what they are using for HS&F on those. Last one I saw had a few heat pipes on it. Should be fine at stock, yes.
Monitors...... I use an acer 22" and like it. For the same price I paid for this you should be able to get a decent 24" monitor. 2-5 ms is good enough for web and gaming. Real estate rocks. keep wishing that I had gotten a bigger one. Check them out and read what the purchasers have to say and then look on line for reviews.
  7. I decided to add drop couple items
    Drop-Radeon 5850
    Added-Radeon 5750
(reason needed to add Win7 64-bit within my budget)
also dropped the ocz modstream psu that was in a combo with the radeon 5850
    added antec truepower 550w psu

heres link to my setup: http://i858.photobucket.com/albums/ab144/bweliky2/comp1.jpg

will most likely upgrade video card at a later date right now just cant afford it.
will i be able to upgrade later with this mobo?
any last advice please? will this run WoW and possibly diablo3 and starcraft 2(when realeased)
    all comments appreciated
    thx everyone
