Smaller node process usually means less heat, less voltage.

In this case 45nm > 65nm, as the 45nm would probably run cooler and consume less voltage.

^+1, there is no HDZ555WFK2DGI, because the 'I' at the end, normally refers to C2 steppings of Phenom II, and the Phenom II X2 555 was a C3 stepping release. The C3 stepping will overclock better than the HDZ550WFK2DGI or Phenom II X2 550 C2, as the Phenom II X2 555 produces less heat and is more energy efficient.

PII 555 has bigger posibility to be unlocked than theyr older version 550.

thanks guys going to play it safe a friend has this setup, gigabite mob with XMAS2 800 memory & a 550 45nm part no. HDZ550WFGIBOX £70 :sweat:
