Q6600 Normal Temp ?

Hi , My cpu is running at 55 C At idle And 70 + C at Load is this normal under the ambience temp of 30 C?

as per my report the max temp is 70C and normal is 60C

dont worry about it its 100% safe

I would say thay is a little hot but nothing really excessive - you're about 10C above me. I run about 28C idle 50C load and I guess ambient is around 20C. So maybe I'd expect to be around 38/60 at ambient of 30, but it'll depend a bit on your cooler, case fans and luck of the draw on how hot your chip runs. I'm on the stock cooler but think I'm lucky with a relatively cool running chip and a good bond between CPU and heatsink. I have 2 front mounted 120mm case fans only in my case.

If you haven't OC'd your CPU then those temps looks quite high too me,i think something around 25-35c would be good for idle and 50-65 for full load.
What are your full system specs and your cooling

55 C idle is too hot.

I took Out the casing cover and my idle temp striaght go down to 45~50 for core 0 and the others are 41 ~

It should be 62C or 71C depending on which revision of the Q6600 you have.
