Video upgrades for dell inspiron 530

Hello,
I just got Star Trek online. I have a Dell Inspiron 530, which suits my everyday needs just fine, but runs the game a bit "Choppy". I don't have the money to buy a new computer (for one game)but really want to play it at optimal speed! In laymans terms, what can I do to bump up what I have? ie; more memory or a new video card or both? Thank You!

Don't know what your specs are. If you have the slim line 530 then I would say ad a video card like a low profile Radeon 4650, well assuming the PSU is at least 275W if you have a dual core CPU or 300W with a quad core. You should have at least 2GB of RAM, but more would certainly be nice .
