I have a 9Tb RAID array. I want to bacck it up. With the price of drives right now I am thinking of getting 20 512GB USB 3.0 drives for $210 and 2 10 port USB 3.0 hubs. Can I create a RAID and make 1 drive out of this?
LOL, yes you can use USB drives to create a Windows 7 software disk array, although I don't really know the drive # limit (IIRC you can span 32 drives), but it doesn't sound like a very reliable backup solution.
You have a GREAT price on 512gb usb 3 drives, 16gb USB 3 flash drives cost $20 each for me.
