SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Games, HD Movies, HD Stream to PS3

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Processor (Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450), monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers

PARTS PREFERENCES: Asus

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe (most likely) SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe (later)

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1440x900 (Monitor), 1920x1080 (LCD TV)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I need a compatible Motherboard with the processor, it was a gift and it's been painful to get a compatible motherboard. A motherboard with 16 GB RAM (For the future), a video card maybe crossfire and HDMI and DirectX 11 (If possible).

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

IMO you should save the money a little more, and build an i5, i7 or AM3 rig. The 775 socket is old.
