What to change or set to get windows XP CPU to boot automatically after a power failure?

Where the BIOS option is depends on your BIOS. It would help if you provided make/model of mobo and bios version. Do you have the manual, either on CD or downloaded?

For the Asus P7P55D-E Deluxe, it's under Power, in APM configuration. "Restore on AC power loss" gets set to "power on." See if it's in the same place for you. Good luck.

Some bios's have it listed as "remember last power on state".
