My corsair GT series is slower than my HDD right now in write speeds my SSD is getting 414MB/s Read but its write is a measly 80 MB/s my HDD is getting 99 MB/s Read and 90MB/s write... how is it slower and im using CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1...
Is it hooked up to sata3? do you have ahci enabled? Run AS SSD Benchmark first to see if you get similar results... I have a 120gb force gt and get well over 500 in both...
Make sure the drive has the latest firmware. Do a full format of the drive and install the latest firmware. Make sure you have the drive set to AHCI mode in the bios because thats the fastest one. The older IDE and other modes are a lot slower. Also make sure you have it plugged into the Sata 3 controller or at the very least SATA 2 controller.

woops forgot to mention yes its SATA III my motherboard is the Gigabyte 990FXA-ud3 which is all Sata III no sata II's and AHCI is enabled im positive about that trim is enabled to and my AS SSD bench marks are identical to the crystaldisk but the write is actually slower by 3 mbps

I have all that done T_T im trying everything i can think of i set everything in my motherboad to AHCI, my mobo is only SATA III it has no SATA II firmware is updated.
Do you have something hogging the drive when you run your test? Maybe the gigabyte board doesn't produce similar to my Crosshair, I use to have a Asrock deluxe5 890fx that didn't get close to my crosshair when using sataIII...
Either way, you won't notice any difference as long as your IOPS/Access Time is there..
