CPU/and gfx

Hey guys,

So I would like some opinions as to what CPU and what GFX card i should put into my computer.

Between these 2 parts I would like to keep it under 200 dollars.

What I'm going to be doing with my computer is schoolwork, playing some video games and doing some video editing. (nothing major, also not going to be completely anal about quality of games and/or videos. Like playin games on med setting at a high frame rate would be fine. (or if it could be done so that I get high frames on high settings then so be it.

The reason I need help is just cause I don't know what would be better.

For example if I got just the athlon II x2 240(have one now in my family pc and like it) and a 150ish video card would that be better then lets say the Phenom II X2 550(BE) and a 100dollar video card.

Will pick the power supply after the card, and would like it to be an nvidia gfx card cause im gonna get the ECS GF8200-A.

i can't pick any cpu out for you with out knowing the chipset of your motherboard. Is it intel or amd, 1156 1356, am3 ,am2, am2+ these affect what processors you cna pick out.

in general though, is it better to go for a better processor, or a better graphics card do you think?
