MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050

I'm really just looking for a build that tops out at 800 here, i know some about parts but not enough to know if one part is significantly better than the other, my main thing i was told which im not sure about is you want dual 16x opposted to single for future proofing.. Really not sure just looking for a nice build see how i like it, and maybe if someone has time to give me small explanations on each item. Thanks in advance.

Some things I chose that came to 850 are these, maybe brought down a tad or something not sure if they are all that good, ect. Thanks again.

You could take a look at:

Then decide if you want an Intel or an AMD build and provide a list of preferred components. We'll then be able to tell you what could be improved, if any.

A few recommendations:

-HDD: Get the Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB instead. Faster drive, more efficient, larger, and only $5 more.

-Mobo: Get a board with USB 3.0 and SATA III (6GB/s) if you can afford it. You'll come to appreciate the extra functionality.

-GPU: Get the 5770 instead. Same price, but it's more power efficient, cooler (in temp), equally as powerful, supports DX11 and HD audio bitstreaming, etc. Or if you plan on upgrading your monitor to one with a res of 1920x1080 or higher before you upgrade your PC again, consider a 5850.

-HSF: Since you said you're gaming, I would suggest you get an aftermarket cooler and OC your BE CPU. A CM Hyper 212+ will allow you to OC the 955 to at least 4.0GHz for just $30.

Otherwise great build. Good luck!

You recomend don't use the build only for the case?. Easy.

Change it for This

and change the processor for this

Total: $ 820,93.
