ASUS P7P55D-E Pro vs MSI P55A-G55

so basically i wanted a mobo that can sli...but i also want a sweet one that is very reliable and will last a long time.....so i can buy the Msi one for 129$ Canadian, or 169$ for the Asus one....should i take the asus one for 40 dollars more or should i just stick with the msi one? thanks

I would go with the ASUS over the MSI, as from my experience ASUS is a much more reliable brand & I would trust them much more than MSI. IMO, the ASUS P7P55D-E Pro is the best overall LGA 1156 motherboard.

I put Asus, Gigabyte and MSI all as top tier motherboard makers. I would save the money.

k well why is the asus one so much more expensive? i dont seem to notice any difference between the 2 boards...if someone could point out the reason why the asus board is so much more expensive that would help my decision alot...also i dont plan on doing much overclocking so dont take that into account ..thanks

The asus has both SLI and crossfire support, MSI only crossfire. Well if u look in the MSI website it says that the MSI board supports both SLI and Crossfire.

cool thanks guys i guess ill go with the asus p7p55d-3 pro since its a more commonly used board and if someone were to go wrong or if i wanted to oc in the future i could find out much easier ....thanks
