I know everyone recommends CM hyper 212 Evo, but I think maybe it is a bit more expensive in my country. My temperatures are around 33, when doing light work (or nothing ). However when I tried Prime test CPU temperatures went to 90 degrees and quickly /2-3minutes, so I stopped the test. I noticed however that my Core speed went to 4,3 k MHz. because multiplier increased to 43... (in CPU-Z). I haven't changed anything in UEFI though, just RAM to 1600..should I ? mobo asus p8z77-v. Haven't started bothering with OC yet, just built the computer a few days ago Also CPU cooler went just from 900 to 1300 RPM and CPUTIN was just showing 51 degrees although coores had over 80. (Hardware Monitor)

CM hyper 212 Evo goes for ... 32€
alternatives:
Cooler Master: Hyper TX3 Evo .. 23€ ;Hyper 412S...37€
Arctic cooling: freezer 7 pro rev.2.... -23€ ; Freezer 13... 29,27€ ; Freezer 13 Pro...34€ ; Freezer i30... 36,5€
Scythe: Shuriken REv. B ...27€ ; Mine 2 ...27,5€ ; Grand Kama Cross 38€
Thermalright True Spirit.... 33,5€
Zalman: CNPS7X LED... 28,70€ ; CNPS11X Performa... 35€

So still 212 Evo? I like it to not be too loud as well.

Im using Cooler Master Hyper 412S in Push "mode" with my i5 3570k and im happy with it. I have never seen my CPU temp go over 67C during tests (mainly Prime95 and Intel's Burn test).
Atm i have the CPU at 4.2ghz but i also tried it at 4.4ghz during the tests.
I can't hear the sound of the fan at all, but im not sitting right next to my computer.

Im not familiar with all the coolers you posted though, so i can't say that it's the "best" of them, but i can tell you that it's not a bad buy.

Just to add it, mine cost me 299 norwegian KR, that's more or less 40euros so it's not far off

Look at the logiysis MC3002GX , it is under 20.00 , brought my temps from 35c idle 62c 100% all cores to 22c idle 42c 100% all cores stock clocks , could not oc with stock cooler as max temp for cpu is listed at 62c . Now OC'ed at 3.9 and temps are 32c idle 53c maxed . CPU is AMD 1100t . And the cooler is silent , cannot hear it at all . Good cooler at a decent price .

I use the 212 Evo and its works very well on my OC'd 3770k and is quiet too. I recommend it highly.
