GA-x58a-ud3r + i7 950

I am about to order a ga-x58a-ud3r and an i7 950
And I just wanted to make sure that processor will
be compatible With the motherboard straight out of the box.

The CPU compatabilty says it is compatible since bios FA Which I'm assuming is the one it's shipped.

Yes, FA supports the new i7950; you should update to FB.

In addition, the UD3R/UD5 have known issues if configuring SSD + HDD drives. If you are looking at that combination and/or RAID then instead get the ASUS P6X58D-E.
