HDMI 1080p or DVI hi graphics?

Hello forums, dont know if this is the right section, but is related to graphic cards. Ive recently built a new gaming system with a 5750 radeon, and it has both HDMI and DVI.

My COmputer monitor is capable of Full HD 1080p and was wondering if connecting a HDMI cable to play in 1080p is better then just high graphics through a DVI cable.

If some one can give insight, it would greatly be appreciated

The only difference between the two is that HDMI was designed to carry an audio signal as well as a video signal but both of them carry exactly the same quality of video signal, which is a digital one regardless.
