Hdmi output wont fill monitor nvidia ubuntu

my hdmi output leaves a border on my 24" acer h243h in ubuntu 64 bit 9.10 dvi works perfect. xp pro32 hdmi works fine and fills the screen. not a crisis, just curious. love my 64bit ubuntu w so little conflict, and holy crap, I can see all my memory! lol thx in advance.

had a similar problem with my 23" acer h233h and my ati 5770. i had to fix the scaling options with mine. Haven't messed around with nvidia scaling options personally. Hopefully this helps you.
