Under £400 Gaming/Internet/Movies Build

Hey, I'm looking for help on a new system build. No experience building thus far.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Next 1/2 months. BUDGET RANGE: £350 - £425.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Internet, Movies.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Any that is reccomended for UK buying.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Any.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Prolly not.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1400x900 (19" LCD)

I'm upgrading to a desktop to get into PC gaming (and to get away from my crappy Acer Aspire 5315 laptop)

Gonna be hard to build a decent machine for this amount, but here's what I'd suggest. I don't know what sites are good for buying in the UK, but hopefully this should give you some idea of at least which parts to get. All prices listed are in American Dollars, but the total is $663, which comes out to 423 pounds.

If you have any more money to put into the system, the video card would definitely be the first thing you would upgrade.

Thanks guys, I'll most likely go with batuchka's build with 4gb of ram, even though it does go over £400.

I believe he was going with batuchka's build because it has a better graphics card, but was going to add the extra RAM.

I've slightly changed the build, what do you guys think?

I've only changed the case, the PSU and the ram amount.
