I am looking for a dependable low maintenance SSD drive. I have not a great deal of knowledge about SSD or software/bios when it comes to computers.

120gb SSD drive and $200 or less budget is what I am wanting to put in.

Looking to get a taste of what this SSD craze is all about. :bounce:

Generally-speaking the Samsung 830 has an excellent reputation and fits your budget at $199: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I just got the Samsung 128gb 830 series. It is awesome. I love it. Had a lot of help, so install went pretty smooth. I used the magician software that came with it, so it did make it a little easier to achieve what I needed to. Also, download the RST drivers,. They are supposed to help with performance. Also, make sure you set your bios to ahci BEFORE you install OS, and update firmware for ssd also.
