Help scanned errors

Hello,
I scanned a essay to my computer then to my Flask memory stick. I found errors. and I cann't correct then. Can I correct errors from a scanned copy on my computer?

What format was the essay scanned into? PDF. Word, or something else?

Hello Honeydo1,

Do you mean there is spelling mistakes on the scanned image? IF so, you will need a form of OCR Software (optical character recognition), which takes the scanned document and makes it an editable text document on your computer again.

Although I've never had a reason to do this task personally. I can definitely say with confidence this is the type of software solution you would need to address that. I used to do HP printer support and so I'm quite familiar with scanning and the software solutions available for this particular problem.

it sounds like you scanned them in jpeg format or similar you could probably correct them with a graphics editor

but your best bet is probably an ocr (optical character recognition ) software--this converts scanned images to word , excel etc
