i7 920 with stock cooler and no overclocking.
OCZ Platinum CL 7, 6GB DDR3
Wanted to be shure everything is running right, and google about some testing methods, because im a noob at this.
Found Intel Burn Test & Real Temp...
With IBT - The test went fine at standart and high (Highest temp = 76), but with very high and maximun it said critical error and i should check the air. I saw in BIOS it was set to give me a warning when temps got up to 80, maybe thats why its mistaking to test the higher stress levels?
With Real Temp - I ran the 10 min sensor test where it uses prime and this was my result:
Is it okay? Or is something wrong?
Should i test with more things?
I just ran it on my i7-920 overclocked to 4.03 ghz, with a CM Hyper 212+ cooler, and my temps stayed around 65C even on the maximum level test. Curiously though, the LOAD never went above 52% or so, so my first time using this benchmark tool leads me to believe that Prime95 (which I usually use) is probably better.
I would definitely invest in a cooler though, the Hyper 212+ is an amazing performer, and inexpensive to boot.
