Asus p5g mx

Hi there
i have motherboard ASUS P5G-MX
i can buy in good price memory 2x4GB
i know that max for that mboard is 4GB
the question is:
when i put 8 gb will see 4 gb?? and will work?
i can save memory for the future when i will change the mboard

In case your still wondering:

By the looks of your board's setup - No. If the max is 4GB, that means that each individual slot supports a maximum of 2GB. And to put 8GB total that means putting 4GB on each slot. Not gonna happen. =P
