Asus rampage 3 extreme and Corsair triple channel dominator 1600

Hello, new egg says the rampage 3 extreme is compatible with 1600 ram but asus website says 1600 (o.c) I want this ram http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145224 and this mobo http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131642, will this ram work on that mobo just want my first build to be a sucess

In addition, if none of the Certified DDR suits your needs then go to the RAM Mfg's site for Tested DDR. Compatible DDR vs "guessing" is a Best Patrice suggestion.

It's compatible but you do have to OC the memory controller to get the memory to run at 1600.
