Adjusting my memory timing

hi guys...

since i got my new rig i didint have a stable system... been posting all over the tomshardware but i didnt have the answer yet...
so i need to chk out my memory timing that i have may solve the problem and make it more stable so...

i have 2x2 800mhz kingston kvr800d2n6/2g rams runs in dual....my mobo sets the setting in auto with 6-6-6-18 and the bank cycle time (trc) 25

cpu-z says in table timing @400 frequency




so i set it manually the timing to 5-5-5-15 trc 24 and the vdimm 1.95 but am not sure about the bank cycle time (trc)


i need to know if do i need to decrease it to 15 or something like that for the new timing changes and does the voltage good?can you guys correct it for me?

PS: i did not overclock anything...all in stock values.

There's nothing wrong with your ram DDR means double data rate .
What's 400x2?

what am asking here is if trc which is at 24 -good enough- with new timing that i have now which is 5-5-5-15 instead of 6-6-6-18 and changed the trc 24 instead of 25...

-yes i do have 400x2 mhz

The best thing to do is run some Prime95 test to determine stability.
