Phenom II X4 945(3.0GHz) or Intel Core i5 750(2.66GHz)

I am looking for a new computer, but can not decide which one to get. I did some research, and did not find much and the one I found was really complicated for me to understand, can you please help me decide which computer to get?

  1. Go for 1), because the Core i5 750 is faster, especially if you overclock it. Also, as ct said, you get a 700W PSU which allows you to upgrade to any graphic card and you will want to upgrade, because the 9500GT sucks period, and 420W isn't enough for anything more powerful than an HD 5750 IMO.
  2. For single HD5850 or worse, go with whichever is cheaper.

For single HD5870 or dual HD5770 or better, get the i5-750 one.
  3. IMO, I would rather build my own rig with the same budget but with better gaming prowess which could perform way better than this.
  4. What's your budget?
  5. no. 1 but change the video card to a more powerful one.
  6. u can configure better if u choose ur own parts... but if i'd buy from the two options my choice would be - OPTION 1
  7. what's ur budget anyways ??
