I've been running Windows XP 32 for quite a while and yesterday I noticed the my computer icon in the upper left of the screen started flickering like it's on a CRT (but it's an LCD monitor). I can move it to different spots on the desktop and it is still flickering. I tried unplugging the mouse and keyboard because it kind of looks like it's being clicked on repeatedly. Only the my computer icon is showing this. At the same time I'm also having a problem with network share connections with messages about quotas being exceeded. I log out and back on and they're fine for an hour or two then I have to log out and back on to be able to access them again. It seems like these two things are related because they started at the same time. Corporate anti-virus sofware is current and I don't do much web surfing at all. Anyone seen anything like this before? Thanks!
