I was given an i7 940 and a panasonic blu-ray RW drive. I am going to build a system around this, but not sure where to begin. I don't game much and want to ditch my cable and do only IPTV. What recommendations do you have?
I was thinking of the following:
smackboard, 6GB ram, 2 500gb HD in a Raid 1 format and win 7 64 bit, 640watt pwr and a video card, possible audio card, not sure on that.
Ideas? I have not built a PC in the last 15 yrs.
