Slow boot time in Windows 7 - On an excellent machine

Built in November by me:
AS Rock X58 motherboard
6GB RAM 1866mhz 8-8-8-28 latency DDR3
1GB Radeon HD 4870 XFX graphics card
1TB (2x500GB) samsung spinpoint 7200 hard drives in RAID 0
750W PSU
Azza Solano full tower case with 5 fans (3 intake, two exhaust)
GeminII S cpu cooler
i7 920 2.66ghz
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit RTM build 7600 fully updated

Boot time from power button pushed: 1 minute and 24 seconds
Shutdown time from when shut down is clicked on Window 7: 20 seconds

Startup items:
Avast anti-virus
Malwarebytes anti-malware
CCleaner (clean upon startup then shutdown)
Adobe Reader Speed Launcher
Adobe ARM
Catalyst Control Center (for graphics card)

Registry is cleaned often with CCleaner

I just put in the new hard drive and did a clean install two days ago and utilized RAID 0 speed.

I am getting pretty much exactly the same boot time as before with one hard drive.

Does it get to loading Windows quickly, then get really slow, or is it slow in POST and detection of drives/OS?

One other thought, do you have the newest BIOS for that Motherboard?
