Impossible to install GPU to P7P55D-E LX

The PCIE16X slot for your GPU has a lever at the end that has a very narrow gap.

How are u suppose to install you GPU (gtx 460) into this slow, because the hinge at the end of card is way thicker than the narrow gap.

I would literally need to rip off the lever to slide the card in.

Has anyone encountered this?

Based on the image from Newegg ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131634 ), it looks like a standard slot, the lever is a locking mechanism, it should engage when you push the card in. I don't see anything that would suggest otherwise.

Never have I had to move the lever to install a card. Just push the card in and it will lock itself. Then you need to pull the lever to remove the card.

^+1... 1haplo is correct. You just install the card and the lever will lock in place.
